The IDW is what happens when you give out participation trophies for something as simple as talking to another person. They are neither brave nor groundbreaking in deeds or ideas.
Something as simple as talking to another person has become an act of bravery in this age of ‘I can’t believe you liked a tweet by him when he was in a panel with that guy who’s sister’s dog was involved in non-consensual canine humping!’

That’s why we should measure ourselves according to our ideals and not the issues of others. This is a basic one. No extra credit for not being as bad as “they” are.
