Agreed. Women wore it before, but only in the smaller cities, among the uneducated etc. They popularized it/enforced it on everyone. It’s a flag of the Muslim Brotherhood....though most ppl who wear it today are unaware of the connection. And this is not true for all countries
Yes! I'm so glad to read that. I made research on "passage rituals and veiling of girls" and after a week of intense research I finally got to that conclusion and I had ppl disagreeing with my conclusion..
Ppl are shocked at how such a change can happen so quickly. Social change is always pretty fast. Just a few yrs ago most Democrats were against gay marriage and the LGBT community were treated as dirty/sub-human. Now look at how society has changed completely on that topic.
