Yasmine, that's not fair. Criticizing her is not the problem. The video our *President* tweeted to his 60 mil followers is highly edited, totally decontextualized, with a menacing soundtrack and 9/11 footage. That was not criticism, that was agitprop.https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1116817144006750209 …

What if someone did this to Maajid or Ayaan? Clipped out their words, then played them in such a fashion to elicit an emotional response. In fact, we know that's happened and its egregious and likely increases their security concerns. Except this time, its the President sharing.

My sentiments exactly. A lot of rational people seem to be taking a ride on the crazy train. The 9/11 thing clearly touched a nerve. If a U.S. Representative feels unsafe with criticism maybe they are in the wrong line of work.

I'm really disappointed in
@SarahTheHaider and@MaajidNawaz. I would never, ever, under any circumstances agree with Linda Cockroach.https://twitter.com/lsarsour/status/12319983351 …

Honest criticism is ok, as is criticizing the critic. But I believe she was being grossly misrepresented in Trump's video, and he is trying to secretly provoke extremists followers to physically harm her. Acceptable limits on free speech is always a very difficult line to draw.

Censorship is always the objective of blasphemy laws and silencing all forms of criticism usually leads to such anti free speech ideologies. It’s a dangerous slippery slope to hell.
