No. It’s not weird. Even though there’s no govt forcing girls in the West, their families and communities still force them. I was one of many women threatened w death. Of course that’s a problem. There is a lot to talk about. How do you free women from this oppression without limiting their choice?

I don’t free them. That’s their own business if they choose to subjugate themselves. I was once a hijabi and a niqabi-I know there would have been no getting through to me I’m here to support women who do not want to wear it. I’m here to cheer them on in their fight for freedom
