You can’t assume an individual girl/woman wore it by choice just because she’s in the West. We need to fight for women to be free regardless of where they are on the planet.

No. It’s not weird. Even though there’s no govt forcing girls in the West, their families and communities still force them. I was one of many women threatened w death. They do here in the west. No women is forced by law to cover up yet women wear niqabs and even burkas. Isn’t that weird?

I'm sorry you experienced that. I imagine it has to be incredibly difficult living that. I am aware of Parvez and Tokio. May I ask...what do you say to women in the west who want to wear the hijab?

There’s nothing to talk about. There are no problems. They’re lucky to live in a country where ppl have died for them to have the right to wear what they want. Our fight is for other women that do NOT have the same rights. They cannot wear what they want. THATS the problem.
