PS: I think Canada has the best balance/combination of their ‘socialism’ vs individualism argument. If you have familial support, that’s great! But if you don’t, then the govt is there for you. It’s the most realistic approach that is right in between both their arguments.

Americans have really demonized it to the point that they shoot themselves in the foot sometimes. An Uber driver and I once argued over Universal healthcare (which he was disgusted w because ‘socialism’) I mean...what? How is that ever a bad thing?
