Thats not exactly fair. Not all hijabis are “fundamentalists”. She wore an outward sign of respect for the community at large.

And for SOME women, the hijab is a symbol of empowerment not “gender apartheid”. So hijacking their narrative seems pretty off and very much not in line with respecting women’s personal choices
