This is so common, unfortunately. @Ayaan wrote in her book of how her Quran teacher hit her against a wall and cracked her skull. I used to get tied to the bed w the bottoms of my feet whipped. It’s no wonder why so many of us are ExMuslim now. Horrific, excused, child abuse.
