That’s literally exactly what the program teaches. It’s not Sex Ed -though that is vital as well, but the issue the parents have is that it teaches love and acceptance. It teaches anyone can be gay, even Muslims. That FACT is something they don’t want their children learning.
Gay Muslim children will be the most harmed if this program is pulled. Some of those kids are already demonized at home by bigoted parents-now they won’t even be able to get the reprieve of acceptance at school either.

By that logic, it would be wise to exclude history, biology, and other classes from the curriculum, because ignorant parents think, for example, that evolution is a lie, lessons about the crusades are offensive, Holocaust didn't happen, critical thinking is dangerous, etc.

Some of our kids will be gay at school, naturally. they will be fully accepted. Muslim kids may hear (at home) this is wrong but the reality will affect their world view.

This intersectionality does nothing to help gay muslim kids. It distances muslims getting used to a very different society even further.
