I've often wondered about this. I always found it easy to say a life without religious dogma is much richer but it is eternally nice to know that you and those like you, freed from the prison of belief, attest to this.

As Bin Laden said: “We love death as you love life.” So ya, becoming an atheist, I fell in love w life! It’s beautiful and magical and wonderful in ways I didn’t notice because I was too fixated on avoiding eternal damnation and doing what needed to be done to get to Heaven.
