Re wigs, I’m specifically referring to the Hasidic (fundamentalist Jewish) practice of a married woman shaving her head and wearing a wig. Like the other examples, it’s a practice that stems from modesty culture.

You're right, Yasmine. Most Hasidic women shave their heads, and they don't have much choice at it. Confusion is between Hasidic and other factions. Eg: Modern Orthodox women will often not shave their heads. I'd summarize as 'Radical Judaism'. That sums up the ones that do.
