#WhenIWasAMuslim I was told I was morally superior because I wore hijab and niqab. I was told I was a better person and that I’d be rewarded more in the afterlife
But I didn’t feel those things. I felt suffocated and robbed of my individuality

100% I support your movement and I acknowledge that many women and girls have been honor killed over a bolt of fabric. But I also am aware that many women and children have been murdered by (ex)husbands and fathers for no reason at all
