You’re wrong. School is not just about academics. Schools should and already do teach inclusivity. The whole purpose of school is to prepare children to succeed in society. When you live in a diverse society, it is imperative that you teach acceptance and tolerance of all ppl.
I’m sure they’re happy when we teach children not to be racist towards Pakistanis or bigoted against Muslims...but they’re not ok w teaching kids not to be bigoted against LGBT? That’s not how life works.

that is why tolerance is fine. Its ok for them to even be bigoted. Its not ok for them to act on it. Thats the only lesson that should be taught, and it shouldnt be focused on any one community. We live in a society that we all may not like each other, but we tolerate each other.
