Im a big fan of your work Yasmine but I don’t believe LGBT issues need to be taught in primary school to kids who don’t yet understand sexuality. If anything, schools should educate the parents (where bigotry typically stems from) where particular children show bigoted behaviour.
This is really sad. #NoOutsiders is inclusive of everyone including Muslims
Today the #LGBT community will feel the betrayal that reform and ExMuslims feel

We can’t wait to respond to issues after the fact. Would you be ok w waiting to respond to racism only after children have exhibited racist behavior? Schools teach children how to succeed in society. In a diverse society, teaching inclusivity is vital.

Sorry, but I agree with this. I am a gay man and I dont believe that this is something that should be taught in schools. Schools should be worried about academic education, not social. Let the parents and families teach them that part.

You’re wrong. School is not just about academics. Schools should and already do teach inclusivity. The whole purpose of school is to prepare children to succeed in society. When you live in a diverse society, it is imperative that you teach acceptance and tolerance of all ppl.
