I honestly do not see how the West will ever change the mindset of people who believe this religion. It is so totally alien to Western values... but they are here in ever-growing numbers and forcing their values on the rest of us. What should we do?

Not in the UK or Western Europe alas. Free speech just merely questioning islam is being shouted down as islamophobia here with the likes of the BBC playing a huge part in that. It is getting sinister here.
