As someone else pointed out, the women aren't the problem. The hijab isn't the problem. The men who are abusing women are the problem.

In my experience, men rely on other men to tell them what to do. That includes whatever so-called holy writings say. The Christians are no different. Men can stop telling other men to be assholes. That would be nice.
It would be nice. But at the end of the day, a mere man’s words are irrelevant in superseding the divine word from an all powerful being.
