I used to wear bras, yes. Because I thought I had to. And as my boobs got bigger, they distracted men when I went braless. Not good at work. I'm older now, so I distract men less. And I don't care anymore. Point is, WHY do women choose to wear a hijab?
Jennifer, the comparison to bras is disingenuous. As Kathleen said, she wore a bra before and now she doesn’t, that’s the definition of choice. Hijabs, unlike bras, cannot be removed without fear of threats, acid attacks, beatings, imprisonment, and even death.

Where, apart from a few like Iran, Afghanistan & Saudi? In Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, Dubai, Oman, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan etc., Muslim women can be seen in the streets without veils. Where is that majority obliged to wear it?
