It’s such a ridiculous ‘argument’ that would bever be used in any other context: We have a problem w rape in college NOT ALL STUDENTS ARE RAPED! Animal abuse is an issue NOT ALL ANIMALS ARE ABUSED! It’s a problem that women are forced to wear hijab NOT ALL WOMEN ARE FORCED!
To people still saying the hijab is a choice.. I wish I could make them listen to the things that imams in my community say..juts today an imam said that angels would not be near women who don't cover their heads..

Yes, very easy for women living in Western countries to virtue signal and talk rubbish about it being personal choice. They are not forced to wear it under threat of physical violence - not yet. Would think differently if they were.
I do sometimes see pieces on western Muslims who wear hijab discussing their experiences, as though the ones who are forced to wear it are ever going to be allowed to be interviewed.
And if allowed, she would lie to save her life, family honor, and purity because that's what a coerced person would do.
