When we fight for women who want to be #FreeFromHijab, we are supporting MUSLIM women. Do you think all Muslim women want this tool of modesty/rape culture legitimized? MUSLIM women all over the world fight against the hijab and the mindset behind it.

Nope. Women should have a choice, especially in countries where they aren't forced by law to wear one. It's fine to fight the mindset of forcing it upon women but what they're doing is the same: taking women's choice away. That isn't the way forward. For no one.

How are we taking the choice away? Islam has been around for 1400 yrs. You think women were waiting for a French retailer to make hijabs? We are against legitimizing and commercializing rape culture. If women still want to partake in their own subjugation they’re free to do that

Women all over the world are forced to wear the hijab just as much as women all over are stigmatised for wanting to wear it. Ergo, the key problem here is women being forced/shamed to do things against their will. If you want to fight, fight for women’s right to choice.

Whether they choose a hijab or a halter neck needn’t be your concern. Fight for their freedom and respect, which will enable them to make their personal decisions themselves and not get shamed for it. Let’s live and let live. Peace
