When I lived in the Middle East, if I passed close by an older woman in the mall or something, she’d curse me out in Arabic. Yes, that’s true. Islam shrouds the previous cultures. If you google pics from 60s and 70s in Egypt Iran Afghanistan Libya...you name it..the women (usually educated, from the big cities) are dressing as they please. This insurgence of Islamism started around the 80spic.twitter.com/usbRZvecmi
