It’s not compulsory for Muslim women either. They aren’t forced, they are encouraged to do it. it’s the ideal so they have more of a chance to go to heaven. You would know this if you stopped watching Fox news and read a book.

Free choice is like when you want to choose to wear a yellow or a blue shirt to go out. No enforcement from the third party to wear them. Not wearing hijab means going to hell and eternal damnation is not a free choice.
