The hijab is a tool of misogyny. It‘s a physical representation of modesty/shame/rape culture. Women could face acid attacks, beatings, and death if they remove it.
It is an issue we choose to focus on-whether you see value in it or not is irrelevant

I understand. I hope one day that the misogyny associated with them no longer plays a role. I know women who wear it by choice and would not want to see them compelled to take it off either. I feel like this is a sensitive issue and I don't want to upset anyone so I'll be quiet.
No one is compelling them to take it off. Decathlon is a retailer, not the government. And Decathlon is simply choosing not to sell it-they’re not coercing anyone to do anything. Women can still run and swim-if they’re allowed to. And they can still purchase Nike hijabs.

Decathlon has made the decision to not support rape culture. It was the right choice. We can be tolerant and accepting of ppls choices but we should certainly never support misogyny and other bad ideas.

Decathlon was forced to make this decision, because theire employees were threatend! Decathlon did not wanted to remove it. If you only accomplish your will by threatining the other side until they give up, it is the wrong way
