I will happily and loudly raise my voice for that cause. However, the story was about France, where the situation is clearly different. The common thread is about attempts to control women, which I deplore wherever it happens.

Alex sees a chance to virtue signal off brown women. She is peak white feminist. She's not interested in brown women's perspectives, or listening to their voices. Minorities are simply the vehicle by which she can perform her wokeness for her white audience.
