No, it's not. It's a lukewarm cowardly position to take. Women are beaten and killed for not wearing hijab-even in the West including France. If you are a feminist, you should be ashamed of standing on the sidelines and shrugging your shoulders. Defend and support those women! https://twitter.com/alexvtunzelmann/status/1100820463004061697 …

Alex sees a chance to virtue signal off brown women. She is peak white feminist. She's not interested in brown women's perspectives, or listening to their voices. Minorities are simply the vehicle by which she can perform her wokeness for her white audience.

It's not just her. It's a phenomenon amongst privileged, clueless, cowardly feminists. Suffragettes and freedom-fighting feminists that died for them to wear what they want and dye their hair blue are flipping in their graves.

thank u for clarifing , u know what could be a good idea, at least forbid wearing hijab for minors because parents use their education as laverage like "either wear it or we'll imprison u at home and marri u off" if it's realli a choice let it be a real one from the woman

I wish you wouldn’t presume that this is the only issue I’ve ever raised my voice on. I can, have, do, and will continue to speak up for women’s rights everywhere in the world. Thanks and all best.
