I don’t know how much clearer I can make it. I absolutely support those women. I am against those who seek to control women’s lives and choices.
So am I. We agree on that. It would be helpful to have you and other feminists raise their voices in support of women fighting for their freedom to NOT wear the hijab-as that is the bigger, dire issue here. No woman is imprisoned for wearing a hijab, however the opposite is true.
I will happily and loudly raise my voice for that cause. However, the story was about France, where the situation is clearly different. The common thread is about attempts to control women, which I deplore wherever it happens.
Will you? I look forward to seeing you get some clarity on this issue. I hope you'll raise your voice in support of women being pepper sprayed, attacked w acid, beaten, imprisoned & killed-not just raising it for the tragedy of women having limited hijab retailers.
