This whole ‘transwomen in women’s sport’ argument is back to front and upside down. It is starting from a position of ‘Transwomen deserve places in women’s sport’ and then is asking women to work backwards and prove that wrong.

The fact that there have been changes made at such speed, and with insufficient thought, really does speak as to how women’s sport is undervalued. It also demonstrates that the idea that male people feel entitled to simply take what women have is very much alive and well

Totally agree. Why do we not hear from transgender men? Why is it only transgender women insisting on things like being in female prisons and female sports? Male privilege, that’s why They’re socialized to be aggressive and get what they want regardless of the safety of others

It really does just seem to be male privilege and a feeling of entitlement. It’s disappointing the sporting bodies nodded it through without more consideration too.
