How long will they ride this ‘Islam is perfect, but Muslims are not’ meme? When will they understand that Islam without HUMANS is irrelevant. Muslims will always be involved in implementing the ideology, and if Muslims are flawed, then the implementation will ALWAYS be flawed.
Plus, of course, the fact that it’s a flawed ideology-with or without humans. You cannot hope for humanity to progress if you’re using a 1400 yr old rule book. That’s the opposite of progress. When Allah drops his new album, then we can talk. It’s long overdue anyway.

In my view, the opposite is actually true. Humanity usually trumps many of the bad impulses that religious dogma tends to foster. @HassRad made this point first.
