I’m not sure why this would come as a surprise to anyone. I’m a feminist and that would definitely inform my decisions. Duh. Our beliefs inform our actions. Why do ppl use a completely different yardstick when it comes to Muslims? They’re just as human as the rest of us.

I’m not using any yardstick. I’m as anti Muslims as I am Christian. They’re loony ideas that need to be grown out of. I’m just talking about maajid’s tweet. If someone is religious but don’t let it affect choices they make for their constituents then it’s not really a problem.
