Yasmine, I'm a big fan and I bet we agree on 99% of things, but Palestine and Palestinians *have* been subjugated and the target of annihilation for decades...we can be critics of Islam and still recognize the massive injustice done to the Palestinians.
I’m obviously aware of that. My father is Palestinian. That fact has nothing to do w my tweet.

But that's the point. Their plight is and has always been largely ignored by those able to do anything about it. Anyways, not a debate for Twitter, I imagine. If you're ever around downtown Van, would love to buy you a coffee. Like I said, a big fan of your work. = )

Ms. Mohammed - what are your views on the ongoing attempts in Knesset and Israeli government in general to de-legitimize Arab citizens of Israel? Should not these citizens have equal rights? And if Israel is to be one state, should not all citizens have equal rights?
