I thought about replying to them, but quickly realised that reasonable people are a minority there. The analogy doesn't even make any sense. No one in the world is being killed for not wearing make-up or skirts. You can freely choose not to and that's the main difference

OMG the ignorance! I am not Muslim but I know the difference between being forced to wear hijab under threat of violence/death, and choosing to wear high heels versus flats to work! Nobody is threatened with a beating for not wearing high heels!!
