Of course it’s a lack of liberty. Of course it doesn’t meet liberal values. It’s modesty culture. It’s victim-blaming. Its’s rape culture. It’s all the things we agree are abhorrent and anti-woman Women can choose to support misogyny, that’s their right. But it’s not a good thing

@CBCNews To any thinking human being living in the West that values Western values - the Golden Rule, liberty, freedom of conscience and tolerance the advancement of Sharia Law is in itself controversial and it is because it is the opposite of all of those things
Oppression (the hijab) doesn't meet my values either. Freedom, life, liberty and choices are more like it.
Women around the world are imprisoned, killed for removing their hijabs while so called feminists compare it to the "oppressive" experience of wearing high heels and pantyhose. Time to burn our razors men!
