I just saw a known, loud convert from the Netherlands say "why is everyone so angry about a mere piece of cloth". It's this amount of being out of touch that irritates me. THEY can put it on for show and to signal how muslim they are, they just can't understand the deeper issue

Converts are generally the loudest and most obnoxious because they’re trying to prove their Muslimness. Also, unlike ppl born into Islam, I have less sympathy for a woman who-as an adult- investigates and then *chooses* to become a fundamentalist Muslim.
