No one is saying that you can’t be against the hijab, the ISSUE is you are platforming a prosleyzing effort that is preying on vulnerable people. Muslims in western countries are marginalized, that is a fact. This movement has two purposes...

1) prosletyze 2) create a safety net and show solidarity for a marginalized community. It’s in that order. The group focuses on the later because it’s easier to rally people to the defense of a marginalized community than prosletyze...

This is similar to how the Nation of Islam used the civil rights movement to prosletyze. The Nation of Islam while a major force in the civil rights movement was first and foremost a religious group. Their valuable civil rights effort was secondary.

What you and the creators have to ask, is what is the best way to ensure the advancement of marginalized people? Obviously the hijab is NOT the way, but is your way the right way? Prior to today, I had never in all my leftist circles, heard of World Hijab day.

Today you and other creators plateformed something you are in opposition to. You are in opposition to the prosletyzing and hijab symbol, BUT the optics make it as if you are against a marginalized community. I and your viewers know thats NOT the case, but thats how your viewed
