A point, a fact, that cannot be retweeted and/or emphasized enough. Pro mandatory hijab Islamists, among others, would love nothing better than to get let off the hook through the wearing of a hijab being equated to being Muslim.

This is very important for women the world over. The hijab is not simply a head scarf it is a symbol of a women's modesty required by an ideology of inequality and demanded by a man 1400 yrs ago. It has no place in any society in the 21c.
