The exact same word has been borrowed in Somali as "ceeb" and it is combined with "xishood" which translates to "behave". Those two words have been used to silence everything from rape survivors to girls showing any inkling of agency

I've suggested this too. But actual muslim women under secrecy on twitter have told me they would be beaten. The gay community knows well what I am saying. It takes time, courage and help from others! Patriarchy/insecurity definitely exist there!
