Not to mention that by not wearing one you signal to men that you are not moslem, and therefore not worthy of any respect, to do with as they please. In some places, the hijab is what keeps you safe, so that is not a choice either. People in the West don't understand this.
Choice means you can decide to put it on or take it off as you please. Nothing about the hijab is a choice.
It is put on us at a young age and this is just a glimpse of what can happen if we decide to take it off as adults.
