This is so hard. How can men or women in the west ever really understand the captive lives of women in islamic countries? I keep speaking out against covering women where I can and it earns me nothing but the title "racist".

A little trip to the Muslim majority countries will do them wonders. Unfortunately they'll never do it, because they're first world westerners insulated from the reality of the rest of the world and who've lost all proper moral compasses for righteousness and justice.

If the US were to change its policy to let them in, I would support that. Unfortunately, it seems like the Trump administration has made this worse by banning nearly everyone (including nearly all women) from some of the most repressive countries (Iran for example).

there are hundred more poorer non islamic countries they can ask for asylum to. Why choose the US? maybe for freedom and money?

I have so often thought about ways to help them. One of the few escaped friends I have took a massive risk to get her freedom, fortunately it succeeded, but there doesnt seem to be many loopholes in that system :/
