I wore hijab. It felt like a cage around my head & the noise of the fabric rubbing against my ears was the most annoying part. Men who defend or encourage modesty clothing should try wearing it while working out at the gym. You’ll feel how empowering it is.

...and any man or woman who thinks the hijab empowers them, I say it really "menpowers" them. The rule to wear one was created by men. It's time for veils, hijabs,turbans& any other religious symbols to be put away for good. Just act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with G

Why target "Men". Women are doing the same. Ask both genders to try wearing one. There are many women who support extremism.

I think because women have to wear it, men don't. So, it becomes a case of do as I say, not as I do. It's not about extremism either. Hijab is "normal" in many countries. In The West, many men will wear Western clothing but still the women cannot.
