Sometimes I need to remind myself why I bother with Twitter. Here are a few accounts that bring me pleasure and ideas and make all the nonsense worthwhile. Common threads are that they value content, principle and humanity above tribalism and dogma.

Each account shares something interesting or important and does so (mostly) with intelligence, courtesy and good humour. To be clear, where I follow political commentators, I do not necessarily subscribe to their views - but I do enjoy the way their opinions are expressed.
