As you know, there are over a billion Muslims and they all practice their religion differently, from drinking alcohol and sleeping around-but praying once a year on Eid, to devoting their entire lives to studying the Quran and never missing a prayer to jihadis (shaheeds) 1

I think that the diversity of Muslim practice is only possibly in countries where it is allowed, right? I mean in some countries you have to wear a hijab by law.

However, what I've noticed is that even the nominal Muslims who drink/have sex/use drugs are still subject to extremist influence. They will still attack those who "offend" Islam, for instance, and discriminate against the LGBT community.

So true. My friend was dating a Muslim, and I was over at her house for a Christmas party and he asked me if I was Muslim and I said not anymore and he flew into a rage. As he chugged down his whiskey, he told me of how I’d burn in Hell...

I know it's bad, but it's also *hilarious*. Before I met my bf, there was a Muslim guy who sent me a string of violent of messages -- on Grindr!
My bio included "whiskey-drinker", and he told me I should be ashamed. The irony of him condemning me via Grindr didn't strike him.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes
