Our Quran teacher used to terrorize us and the more we were afraid of him the more our parents became pleased and happy with his job. Like terror was a sign of good teaching. It was horrible, no wonder I have anxiety attacks.
I was a Muslim for almost 30 yrs of my life, and I think it will take at least another 30 to rid myself of all the trauma. I don’t know if youve tried it, but meditation has been really helpful for curbing my anxiety attacks. It’s an ongoing struggle xxx
I can so relate to that, I'm so sorry to hear about your anxiety troubles, hope you are able to find peace & solace. Yes, meditation & yoga certainly helps...funny how it is associated by islamists with evil & deemed haram & non-Islamic!
