When she was interacting w Nazis, she could clearly see that it was their ideology that had poisoned their minds, but she can’t extend that to Muslims who commit atrocities whether it be honor killings or terrorism. Humans are humans. Both are just ppl poisoned by their ideology.
One of the best thought-provoking questions from Sam Harris IMO was “where are the Christian Palestinian suicide bombers?” Given that their living situations etc are similar, it proves that ideology is the motivating factor for Muslim suicide bombers.

I get that. But ignoring an issue because it’s difficult to face is really not a smart strategy. You’ll never solve the problems if you’re unwilling to address one of the main factors causing it.
