      I haven’t watched the interview, but yes. They are just human beings-some are good ppl, some aren’t. There’s this common lesson in Islam that covered women are good (and the more covered the better) and uncovered women are dirty.       Ok, despite my advice to myself I watched it. There were a few unsettling comments but yes, most personally unsettling were his comments re women in niqab. I’m glad he said some are forced or just want to have a unique identity and some are extremists-that’s true. /1

      I’ve seen so many videos like this being posted on my feed-I have no idea wtf is going on to be honest. It’s definitely a localized/cultural thing and not directly related to Islam. (Though they are clearly Muslims).
