Also, she makes this unfair assumption that we talk about the hijab/niqab honor killings,violence etc because we want to paint Islam in a bad light NOT because we actually care about human suffering. Interesting assumption considering she did a doc on honor killings in Islam.

.@Deeyah_Khan is a hypocrite, her logic would be akin to saying, let's not criticize the white supremacist ideology bcz that can be used against white people, it's a cheap way to discourage ppl like @SamHarrisOrg from being objective about izlam.
izlam is a set an idea, a set of
instructions, akin to lines of code running on a computer program, the notion to refrain from criticizing it for any reason is absurd. it's actually more hurtful to the millions of ppl in the middle east who are still incapable of escaping this 7th century mode of living.
