      It’s true There are virtually no rapes reported in countries that follow Islamic Law This is because the law stipulates that there must be four male witnesses to the penetration in order for it to be considered rape So ya, rapes dont get reported.       They do last year the US was first in terms of rape crimes and now I think it's like 3rd - with "Islamic" countries not being at those levels. 1/5 women get raped in the US. The data is skewed to make it look like eastern countries are better but the stats don't lie

      Rape isn't a crime in Islam either, in fact it doesn't exist. Adultery is a crime, and so the men would technically be tried for adultery if that was the case. Theologically, they only differ between permissible and non permissible sexual relations.

      Which of course means, that according to islamic theology - and here I am not counting the wishy-washy secular law that intertwines, like in Egypt - that a wife for example can't be raped, because he (through the marriage) has bought the right to her vagina.

      You’re right, Tim. Rape is not even mentioned. It’s called zina, or unlawful sex...meaning sex with anyone other than one of your wives or one of your sex slaves.
