#WhenIWasAMuslim I stopped enjoying what I loved and had so much passion for, Music. At 14 I went from being in the Junior Orchestra to deleting all the music I had on my devices and going on to memorise the entire Quran.

But still thanks to them childhood mornings were full of Abdelhaleem and Fairuz. So before they became more religious with age they installed loving music in me without meaning to I guess!
Yup. Religion ruins everything. I also remember my life before my mom became religious...I kept hoping she’d snap out of it, but I gave up hope eventually.
