This extends to family too. #WhenIWasAMuslim my mother threatened to kill me in order to save her own soul. I took off my hijab, so I had to be sacrificed so that she could guarantee she wouldn’t go to hell for raising an infidel. She was focused on her survival, at all costs.

Do you have a sense of what % of Muslims feel this way while practicing? One fellow-follow of mine in Iran says it was OCD-like in his experiences. Other religions do it too, but I think not as often to that degree.
