It's always important to amplify. What others say recognises what Mona says & it's important to have Mona on your platform as it is to have non-muslims on hers. Nobody should be isolated when the problem is shared by all.

Totally agree. Why do you think she wants to put a fence around that topic and bar ppl from speaking? I just can't understand it. It's like she views commentary as somehow taking ownership? But wtf does that mean anyway?! Confused

I have no clue. She says she wants to help women but she actively prohibits them from getting help when she bullies potential supporters, telling them to shut the fuck up. She got a LOT of support from white NonMuslims...but that was fine for her only, apparently.

Mona sucked up all of the support and solidarity shown to her after being attacked by Muslims in Cairo. She became well known because of the empathy offered from good people. Mona has no empathy or feeling of solidarity outside her narrow tribal blinkers. She is toxic.

This toxic feminism is spreading to 'progressive' muslim countries. Instead of fighting misogynistic mullahs, they're fighting comic artists for 'stereotyping muslim men' even though the threat of the nation being converted into an islamic state is very real.
