PS: What is common here is this bs story. I was told the same when I was a child...as were millions of other girls. This cleric is not coming up w an original thought here, this is a commonly repeated warning to Muslim girls.

My response to my mom was to ask what good is a hijab if jinns live in the bathroom? Wouldnt they just see me naked every day anyway?
I dont specifically remember her response but Im sure it was the typical admonishment for asking too many questions, like the Jews

Allah hates Jewish ppl because they ask too many questions. A good Muslim turns off their brain and just does as they’re told. Chapter 2 of the Quran, The Cow, is dedicated to teaching that lesson.
