I'll say it's probably just trying to make every last dime from every last niche (no matter how cruel) - a fundamentally pure libertarian argument worshiping the free market and hoping the eventual outcome aligns with a moral world. It's an atrocious stance, but it's consistent.

I'm not sure that's the case. It seems just as reasonable a cause could be that the hijab is the most easily recognizable Muslim identifier and they went with it b/c for all their desire for inclusivity they still know next to nothing about Islam.
