I remember watching AJ+ (back when I was far left) and thinking of Al Jazeera because of the A and the J, and so I looked them up. I was done with them after that.

The difference is that AJ has hijacked progressive ideals to distract attention from the antihumanistic ultraconservative Qatari gov't. PragerU has equally despicable views, but they make no pretensions about being a progressive organization.
AJ in English just pretends to be progressive, but scratch the surface and their real agenda is there (as per this example w their smearing of Israeli Gal Gadot and their referring to anti-Semite Tamika as an authority). AJ in Arabic is direct about their agenda.
